What better way to experience a unique growing community than to attend a local artisan market?

Introducing the creators of TRIANGLE POP-UP, Sarah Moody and Max Rivera! Sarah has a unique artist flare that shines in the quality of artists and makers she attracts to every one of their Triangle Pop-Up market events. Every artist puts their heart and soul into their handmade items to produce quality gifts for others or a special treat for yourselves. When Max stepped up the business end of these local markets, TRIANGLE POP-UP took off running and hasn’t looked back. Their markets are popping up at Raleigh Food Halls, local breweries, the Campus of NC State and more!

Max and Sarah are big COMMUNITY supporters so promoting local businesses with local artists has just come naturally for them. Their markets have grown to as many as 75 artists and always include special local food trucks too! They have even added various local raffles to benefit local fundraising efforts. Triangle Pop-Up venues gain free top-notch social media advertising, not to mention highly elevated business traffic on POP-UP Market Days.

What is Labor Day and why do we celebrate? There have been several official start dates for Labor Day. It seems it actually started in Toronto, Canada in 1872 before being celebrated for the first time in New York City in 1882. Oregon was the first state to make it an official holiday in 1887. Labor Day began as a demonstration for workers rights but has evolved into a celebration and recognition of the last unofficial day of summer and officially the last appropriate time to wear white. Although, Emily Post says that’s not true anymore, especially in warmer climates like ours here in North Carolina. So go ahead and wear your white shoes, pants, anything you want and celebrate!

Here are a few activities we found happening in the Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs area for the holiday.

Rock Solid Warrior Labor Day Grand Opening Celebration is happening Monday, September 2nd from 7am – 1130pm. Check here for more details! Something for all ages and fitness levels!

5-Year Anniversary Walk Around Bass Lake! Monday, September 2nd at 630pm. Come on out for a 1.75 mile walk and celebrate the 5-year anniversary of this meet-up group! This is a great event for first-timers to come out and meet some fellow members. As always, dogs and kids are more than welcome to come along as well. We will go counter-clockwise around the lake, so if you arrive late, just head clockwise and eventually we will run into each other.

We are already looking at the 1st Quarter of 2019? Where did the year go?

See our 1st Q 2019 market snapshot of our local housing inventory HERE. As we begin this New Year, new listings on market have increased however not enough for our demand. According to our Triangle MLS latest stats, sales in the Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs markets are even more robust than the rest of the Triangle region. Interest rates are staying low keeping our inventory moving quickly. Not surprisingly, this lack of inventory is keeping more home-owners from selling because they have nowhere to go. Thinking of selling your home the “easy way”? Please read my blog on the new “sell your home fast and easy” offers several national companies are now offering local home owners here.

FRONT PORCH REALTY continues to grow and provide the residents of Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs a LOCAL professional real estate firm to handle their real estate transactions. We love moving our residents into, and across town, and to show off all we have to offer.

We are here to help you, your relatives, co-workers, employees, and neighbors. Please consider Front Porch Realty YOUR LOCAL real estate professionals! Please LIKE US on Facebook and Instagram if you haven’t already, we just reached a milestone of 1000 Facebook likes this past week!

Stop by one of our offices, send us a message, or give us a call and let us help you get moving too!
