Cheryl is a Wake County native and the proud granddaughter of J.E. Strickland (d.1981) who was a NC real estate broker (licensed in 1957) and owner of Acme Realty Company on Hargett Street in downtown Raleigh. In keeping with the family business, she became a licensed Broker in 1982.
Being part of such a legacy and working in other employment settings centered around teaching, learning, and access, Cheryl values serving a diverse client/customer base and recognizes that it is just and right to treat every human being with decency and respect.
She has had the privilege of living in southeast and north Raleigh, Fuquay Varina, Angier and Cary…obviously, she’s a Wake County fan!
Cheryl’s also “fanatical” about taking the stress out of the real estate process and making her clients feel “right at home.”

She is the oldest of 3 sisters and her sweet Mama and Daddy still live in the house that she grew up in. Heather grew up in a farming family and her mother was a teacher. She was taught from an early age that hard work pays off. Heather attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and was licensed in 1997. Heather started her family in 2006 and could not be more proud of her two girls and to be raising them in Southern Wake County, in Fuquay-Varina. It is a hard town to pronounce but not a hard place to stay!

Oumou serves the Greater Triangle real estate market as well as the Fayetteville area. Her commitment to continuing education in Real Estate and her degree in accounting have laid the ground work for her success in real estate. Oumou’s past clients continuously reward her with referrals of friends, neighbors, family members, and other co-workers; which is the greatest compliment she can receive. Oumou relocated to North Carolina thanks to her husband’s military service over two decades ago. North Carolina is home and where her and her husband have chosen to raise their four precious boys. For several years, Oumou worked as a language instructor at Fort Bragg, NC teaching soldiers French and subsequently as a Foreign Language Instructor for North Carolina State University. There are days when Oumou misses the classroom ambiance with her soldier-students, however she finds great satisfaction from helping a family find a place to call home or guiding a first time, or seasoned, investor become wealthier one property at a time.
