Front Porch Realty has always taken an active role in our local schools, after all THEY ARE our future! The 2019 FV Youth Leadership Group has kicked off another year. Front Porch Realty jumped at the chance to host their first meeting! We able to speak to the students for about 30 minutes about the interview and application process at Front Porch Realty as well as general work ethics for a successful career in any chosen field. The FV Youth Leadership Group is a small group of about 20 NOMINATED and HAND CHOSEN students from our two local high schools; Fuquay-Varina High School and Southern Wake Academy. These students are not chosen on academic ability but on potential for Leadership Skills. This is a wonderful opportunity that began in 2017. We commend the administration of these local schools for taking the time and effort to put together such a wonderful program for these young adults. Throughout the year, the Leadership Group will visit local businesses, volunteer together and learn from key business owners and professionals of the community. The Fuquay-Varina Business Alliance group always welcomes new members. If you live or work in Fuquay-Varina, you qualify! No prior experience with students is necessary. Through the efforts of our high schools' and Wake Technical College development staff, as well as outstanding members of local businesses, we have been able to bring the classroom to the business and the business to the classroom.
