Be a Downtown Friend!

Would you like to become a “Friend of Downtown?” Since 1993, Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association has been dedicated to building our community by supporting local businesses and by private investment in our historic core. The activities and programs they’ve created bring foot traffic and customers to our two down towns and educate residents on the importance of the support local movement. The Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association works hand-in-hand with the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce, but also have many self run events to offer the community. Here are a few of the events hosted by the Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association: BBQ, Blues and Brews Ghost Tours in Fuquay-Varina Downtown Trick or Treat in Downtown Chili Cook-off Dinner on Depot En Plein Air Candy Hop Play the Quay Miniature Golf Tournament And here are two events that will be going on in the next several weeks! Downtown Sleigh Ride Thursday, December 5th Cash for Christmas Saturday, December 7th We’re a Friend and we’ll see you around town!

CAREER CLOTHING DRIVE

Fuquay-Varina High School will soon have a CAREER CLOTHING CLOSET! The Fuquay-Varina Business Alliance is kicking off a CLOTHING DRIVE November 15th – December 15th, 2019 What a great time to clean out those closets! Items Needed:
Men’s and Women’s Suits Blazers / Sport Coats Dresses / Skirts Blouses and Dress Shirts Polo Shirts / Collared Shirts Slacks and Khakis Ties / Belts Dress Shoes
We ask that these professional clothing donations be in ready-to-wear condition. CLEAN and on HANGERS with no stains, odors, tears, or missing buttons. Donation DROP-OFF at the following Fuquay-Varina Locations:
