Shows offered by the Holly Springs Cultural Center: *Monday, December 9th at 10 am – Monday Morning Movies showing Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa Paws *Saturday, December 14th at 7:30 pm the Route 55 Jazz Orchestra will perform Jazz to the World. *Sunday, December 15th at 3:00 pm Holly Springs Community Band presenting “Happy Holly-Days” . *Sunday, December 22nd at 2:00 and 4:00 pm Come see the story of the Nutcracker Ballet brought to life! This interactive storybook adventure will allow the whole family to experience the magic of The Nutcracker through dance, crafts, and a tea party. After our 20 minute presentation of the story of the Nutcracker Ballet, guests will be invited to the Sugar Plum Fairy’s tea party with all of your favorite characters, a craft, and tea party snacks. Buy tickets here. Saturday, December 7th from 9:30 am – Noon to the Holly Springs Farmers Market, for FREE Photos with Santa! Bring your kids, bring your pets, and bring your camera! Wednesday, November 27th through Monday, December 15thSanta’s Mailbox will be located outside of Town Hall . Holly Springs Run Club volunteers will run the letters to the North Pole so that Santa can answer them before Christmas. **Kids who want to hear back from Santa by Christmas Eve should include their name and home address.** Saturday, December 7th, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.Breakfast with Santa Sunrise United Methodist Church, is hosting this FREE event. The event will include: Breakfast Music Games Crafts A Christmas story Visit with Santa Please plan to stay for the whole event to enjoy all the activities. No pre-registration is required. Main Street Christmas Friday, December 13, 2019, 6-8 p.m. Holly Springs Town Hall and Cultural Center This is a FREE event! Event highlights include: Visit with Santa at Town Hall until 7:15 p.m. (Please plan to visit Santa early) Hayrides downtown Refreshments at the Cultural Center Live entertainment Stories with the Nutcracker Crafts for kids at the Cultural Center Mistletoe Market (Artisans) at the Cultural Center Holiday Open Houses with Downtown Businesses The annual Town tree lighting on the Cultural Center lawn at 8 p.m. Saturday, December 14th at 11:00 am.Holly Springs Christmas Parade New this year, the parade route is extended one block, just past the new Town Hall Commons development. The parade is going aerial! Weather permitting, the Bandit Flight Team is performing a national anthem flyover to kick off the parade at 11 a.m. The team flies vintage aircraft to preserve military Warbird heritage and as an opportunity to salute veterans. Pre-parade performances: Enjoy an hour of performances at select locations along Main Street when the road closes at 10 a.m. in preparation for the parade. This event is held Rain or Shine. Saturday, December 21st, 2019 – 6th Annual Suggly Sweater Run Fun Run at 10am and 5k at 10:30 am at Sugg Farm Park Come dressed in your “favorite: ugly sweater! 2019 Fuquay-Varina Holiday Festivities

Fuquay-Varina is buzzing around the Holidays! Front Porch Realty is your Local RealtorĀ® and we’re here to you keep you in the know of all the activities going on around Our Town. First up is the Town Tree Lighting, Thursday December 5th at 6:00 pm. This is FREE to the public and Fun for all! Located in the parking lot across from The Mason Jar Tavern and Shoppes on Main. There will be performances by local choral groups, an ice-skating rink (from 4 pm – 9 pm), sledding (from 5 pm – 9 pm), and a visit from Santa himself! And a Downtown Sleigh Ride beginning at 6 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the FVDA office located at 108 Raleigh St. on Dec. 4 at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $3 per person with a maximum of 4 tickets. First come, first served basis. This event is Sponsored by the Town of Fuquay-Varina. Coming up Friday, December 6th at 7:30 pm & Saturday the 7th at 3:00 pm is the Fuquay-Varina Chorale Holiday Concert. Tickets are available online here and at the Fuquay Varina Arts Center. Next up is the Fuquay-Varina Christmas Parade,Sunday, December 8, 2019, at 3:00 pm in Downtown Fuquay. The parade route will begin at the corner of Fuquay Avenue and Academy Streets (by Williford Funeral Home), and finish up right here at the Front Porch Realty office at the corner of Woodrow and Main Streets. This event is rain or shine! Check out the parade route map here. The Christmas Parade is followed up by the Dasher’s After Party on Depot Street. The Mill will have hot chocolate, food trucks and adult beverages available while shopping the Stocking Stuffer Market.
