Cheryl is a Wake County native and the proud granddaughter of J.E. Strickland (d.1981) who was a NC real estate broker (licensed in 1957) and owner of Acme Realty Company on Hargett Street in downtown Raleigh. In keeping with the family business, she became a licensed Broker in 1982.
Being part of such a legacy and working in other employment settings centered around teaching, learning, and access, Cheryl values serving a diverse client/customer base and recognizes that it is just and right to treat every human being with decency and respect.
She has had the privilege of living in southeast and north Raleigh, Fuquay Varina, Angier and Cary…obviously, she’s a Wake County fan!
Cheryl’s also “fanatical” about taking the stress out of the real estate process and making her clients feel “right at home.”
Thank you Cheryl for dedication, time and work in helping us during the purchase of our home. Cheryl knows her job quite well and might I say very dedicated to achieving her clients wants and needs. I highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed.

Everything about my experience working with Cheryl at Front Porch Realty was fantastic. She made what could be a daunting process very manageable and welcomed us first time home buyers with warmth and kindness. If only everyone was as good at their jobs as Cheryl, and this world would be a much more efficient place. We recommend her without reservation!
