Built in 1925, the Teacherage is one of only four Wake County structures known to have served to house teachers and the only one built with Craftsman detailing. This unique building, brilliantly preserved, was a boarding house for young teachers who taught at the Fuquay Springs School (grades 1-12) located right across the street. The hallways are lined with vintage photographs depicting former educators along with antique furniture of the era. This 6,400 square foot, 2-story building features various size offices housing several Fuquay-Varina businesses from counselors to photographers.
