FM2FV Concert Series

FM2FV (Follow me to Fuquay-Varina) Concert Series has become a popular local Spring and Fall event! Fuquay-Varina is all about supporting local and making sure our community has time to get together, enjoy each others company, dance & sing, and meet the faces of Fuquay! Locals gather on Thursday evening’s (dates TBD for future events) and enjoy live music, local brews, food trucks, and other activities! There are only TWO concerts left this season so don’t miss out on all the fun! Here is the upcoming schedule –

  • April 12th – Town Easter Egg Hunt @ Fleming Loop Park (10am SHARP!)
    Bring your baskets and don’t be late! This classic egg hunt draws a crowd and kicks off with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny himself.

  • April 12th – Downtown Candy Hop (Following the Egg Hunt)
    Hop on over to Main and Broad Streets where local merchants will be handing out candy. It’s a sweet way to explore downtown with your little ones!

🎶 Follow Me to Fuquay Spring Concert Series – Free Music & Community Vibes

Bring your lawn chairs and dancing shoes — this beloved concert series is back! Enjoy local brews, tasty food trucks, and live music under the stars.

  • A kids’ zone with fun for all ages

🍽️ May 3rd – 12th Annual Dinner in Downtown

A magical night under the stars on South Fuquay Ave in front of the Fuquay Arts Center! Enjoy live music from the Carolina Moondogs, delicious local eats, a live auction, and a whole lot of dancing.

🎟️ Tickets go on sale to FVDA Friends April 8th and the public April 11th. $150/person or $1200/table. Rain plan is in place — so don’t let the forecast stop you!

Barnyard Buddies @ The Scoop at Willow Oaks

Nestled in the heart of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, Willow Oak Farms offers a delightful blend of agricultural education and family-friendly activities. At the center of this experience is The Scoop! @ Willow Oak Farms, a family-owned and operated full-service ice cream shop located on a working farm. Established in 2020, The Scoop! provides a variety of ice cream flavors, handspun milkshakes, and specialty sundaes, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a sweet treat amidst the beauty of the farm. Complementing the ice cream shop is the Barnyard Buddies program, a series of parent-child interactive classes designed for children aged 1-5. These 45-minute sessions, held once a week over five consecutive weeks, immerse young learners in farm life through stories, activities, crafts, and hands-on animal interactions. Each week introduces a new theme, allowing children to engage with various farm animals and participate in unique farm activities.
Barnyard Buddies preschool classes are nature-based, allowing children to learn through curiosity and play while using the environment as a natural learning tool. Outdoor play fosters creativity, confidence, and the ability to assess risks, while also promoting sensory engagement and physical development. Classes take place outdoors on the farm every day, regardless of the weather, providing firsthand exposure to changing seasons and shifting conditions throughout the year. Children will experience various weather elements, including sunshine, rain, and even snow. Hands-on farm activities help build self-confidence, independence, and a deeper connection to nature. While most classes are teacher-directed, free exploration is also encouraged. Classes offered –

  • Pets are not allowed at Town events.
  • Social District Changes: Please note that the Social District will not be open during the festival. It will resume in the Fuquay District from 6:00 to 9:00 pm after the festival ends.
  • Beer Consumption: Beer purchased at the festival must stay within the designated Beer Garden.
  • Parking: Parking is available at Centennial Square, Falcon Park, the Community Center, and Downtown street parking (excluding areas affected by road closures).
