Happy Holidays From Our Family To Yours!
Front Porch Realty has taken an in depth look at our local housing market, see our 3rd quarter snapshot HERE. We are beginning to see a very slight shift into a more balanced market, especially in the higher sales price brackets above $400,000. We are also seeing a trend of more re-sale homes hitting the market, most likely the result of interest rates remaining super low and new home developments popping up all over the place offering hard to resist incentives.
FRONT PORCH REALTY continues to have a handle on all things LOCAL. We offer Buyer Representation at no cost and strongly encourage anyone looking into purchasing a new construction home to have their own agent looking out for their best interests. One of our recent Fuquay-Varina new home clients had this to say; “Our Front Porch Realty agent took the time to spell it all out for us and gave their honest opinion about location, quality, and pricing. I highly recommend Front Porch Realty and we intend on using them in our future realty endeavors”.
FRONT PORCH REALTY offers the residents of Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs a LOCAL professional real estate firm to handle their real estate transactions. What better way to experience a unique growing community than to attend a local artisan market?
Introducing the creators of TRIANGLE POP-UP, Sarah Moody and Max Rivera! Sarah has a unique artist flare that shines in the quality of artists and makers she attracts to every one of their Triangle Pop-Up market events. Every artist puts their heart and soul into their handmade items to produce quality gifts for others or a special treat for yourselves. When Max stepped up the business end of these local markets, TRIANGLE POP-UP took off running and hasn’t looked back. Their markets are popping up at Raleigh Food Halls, local breweries, the Campus of NC State and more!
Max and Sarah are big COMMUNITY supporters so promoting local businesses with local artists has just come naturally for them. Their markets have grown to as many as 75 artists and always include special local food trucks too! They have even added various local raffles to benefit local fundraising efforts. Triangle Pop-Up venues gain free top-notch social media advertising, not to mention highly elevated business traffic on POP-UP Market Days.

What is Labor Day and why do we celebrate? There have been several official start dates for Labor Day. It seems it actually started in Toronto, Canada in 1872 before being celebrated for the first time in New York City in 1882. Oregon was the first state to make it an official holiday in 1887. Labor Day began as a demonstration for workers rights but has evolved into a celebration and recognition of the last unofficial day of summer and officially the last appropriate time to wear white. Although, Emily Post says that’s not true anymore, especially in warmer climates like ours here in North Carolina. So go ahead and wear your white shoes, pants, anything you want and celebrate!
Here are a few activities we found happening in the Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs area for the holiday.
5-Year Anniversary Walk Around Bass Lake! Monday, September 2nd at 630pm. Come on out for a 1.75 mile walk and celebrate the 5-year anniversary of this meet-up group! This is a great event for first-timers to come out and meet some fellow members. As always, dogs and kids are more than welcome to come along as well. We will go counter-clockwise around the lake, so if you arrive late, just head clockwise and eventually we will run into each other.
Front Porch Realty and Front Porch Realty Holly Springs have once again teamed up with the local Coldwell Banker HPW office to gather school supplies for local schools. Our school supply drive has always been extremely successful, thanks to all of you! The students and the teachers are extremely grateful for our support!
We will collect through the month of August. Drop off locations include:
Front Porch Realty Fuquay-Varina office – 604 N Main Street Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526
Coldwell Banker HPW office – 528 N Main Street Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526
Front Porch Realty Holly Springs office – 208 Premier Drive Holly Springs, NC 27540
The lists above can give you an idea of what the students and teachers need this year. But don’t feel like you have to stick strictly to these lists. We’ll take any new items and make sure they get delivered to the right people. Thank you again for your help in this way! This is something we look forward to every year.

The location of the neighborhood has been more than ideal…with its close proximity to the major highways of I-540, US 64, and US 1; getting anywhere in the Triangle is super easy to do. Not to mention the Beaver Creek and the Costco Shopping centers are less than a 5 minute drive away.”
