STORYWALK AT ALSTON RIDGE PARK

The newest interactive addition is presented by the Fuquay-Varina Junior Woman’s Club and is a project created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library; Introducing Storywalk at Alston Ridge Park.

Opening to the public recently in Alston Ridge Park, Storywalk is an innovative and immersive way for children (and adults) to get out and enjoy the outdoors while you follow along a children’s storybook. Laminated pages from a children’s story book will be attached to wooden stakes along the pathway for you and your children to read along with as you enjoy the paved pathway. The children’s book will be switched out every 3-months for your enjoyment so be sure to check back for new stories!
