2021 FUQUAY-VARINA 4TH OF JULY

We are halfway through the year and Independence Day is already here! 2021 has been a wild ride and we are happy to see Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs consistently growing with new developments and more people moving to town. With businesses opening up more, it’s great feeling like things are coming back to normal! If you’re in the area we have quite the list of events for you this year!

Fuquay-Varina Independence Day

We have all been waiting for this! Awesome music, amazing local food vendors and the outstanding fireworks! The Town of Fuquay-Varina is going all out this year to celebrate and we are so excited.

  Stars, Stripes, and Sunflowers It’s sunflower season and they are kicking things off with one heck of a concert! Bring your own chairs or blanket to enjoy the music. You will have 5 acre’s of sunflowers to walk through and take photos. It’ll be one BIG party with local breweries coming in and serving their best drinks for the summer! Friday, July 2nd from 6pm to 11pm CATHIS Farm Events 544 Falcon Rd, Lillington NC 27546   Holly Springs Independence Day Continue the celebration out in Holly Springs! Nothing can beat the 20 various food trucks they’ll be having or the live music that will be going on. Bring family and friends to see the best firework show to come! Join the pre-celebration party at Oaklyn Springs Brewery! There will be drinks and you’ll be able to get a bite of some authentic Chicago style hotdogs with some veggie styled options. This will be a great stop if you’re feeling really hungry!

Celebrate All Fathers This Sunday!

Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs Memorial Day Weekend 2021

Operation Fly Our Flag is having their own event located at The Mason Jar Lager Company in Fuquay Varina off of E Broad Street. The annual event is to remember the fallen and honor those who have served. Head out on Sunday, May 30th, from 12pm-4pm for live music, raffles, a food truck, and beer! No cost!

Local Easter Celebrations This Weekend!

Spring is finally here and Easter is coming! You know here at Front Porch Realty, how much we love to support our local community. This weekend will be packed full of events and we have curated a list of options for you if you needed some ideas. The list focuses on the Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs areas.   • Sunrise Service – The Break of Dawn (Sun, April 4th 6:45am – 7:30am) Start your Easter with a sunrise service outdoors! It’ll be a cozy morning. Watch the sun rise as you enjoy the music. Breakfast will be served right after the service to top it off.
  Fuquay-Varina UMC
  • Easter Egg-Venture (Thurs, April 1st – Sun, April ^th) RSVP for some ultimate fun (safely of course). FVUMC have created an event for the family to enjoy but keeping them safe at the same time! It’ll be a six day event to space out time for everyone and not over-crowd.
  • Sunrise Service on the Front Lawn (Sun, April 4th 6:45am) Join the community for the morning sunrise on Easter Sunday. You will need to bring your own chairs and be sure to wear comfortable shoes for when walking over the grass.
  Sunrise United Methodist Church
  • Easter Alive (Sun, April 4th 8:30am – 10:30am) Feel Easter come alive as you experience significant events that led to Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection. After the service there will be a fun craft activity and an egg hunt for the kids.
    The Vineyard Church of Holly Springs
  • Easter at the Vineyard (Sun, April 4th 11am) Enjoy Easter Sunday service outdoors in celebration of the resurrection of life along with worship. Then to finish such a beautiful morning. Lunch will be served by Annie Bell’s Catering!
Evangel Church
    • Easter Egg Hunt (Sat, April 3rd 12pm – 1pm) This egg hunt will be great for the kids to enjoy! If you already had plans for Sunday, this won’t get in the way. It should be warm out this Saturday so go get that sunshine. Spring is here!

2020 has been quite the year for surprises and hardships and we are all ready to bid it farewell! WRAL Nights of Lights – WRAL TV Starts at 5:30pm ( 2105 Umstead Dr, Raleigh, NC 27603) Take a drive through Dorothea Dix Park and check out the mile long holiday lighting. You can’t get any safer than watching the show from your car. Don’t miss the last day to see it! N.W.L. Un-New Years Eve Party – Niche Wine Lounge From 6pm to 10pm (109 N Main St, Holly Springs, NC 27540) Toast at 8:30pm for the New Year! Eat good food and jam to live music played by Liz Reedy. Festivities will take place on their heated outdoor seating area. Lights On The Meadow – Lights On the Meadow From 6pm to 9pm (9301 Hay Meadow Ct, Raleigh, NC 27603) This family began sharing their joy 23 years ago! Celebrate with them and see their light show. You may even see some favorite characters such as Frosty, Rudolph, and Mickey and catch a glimpse of Santa himself. They have over 40 inflatables to enjoy! You will want to tune to channel 88.3 FM to listen as the lights dance to the music. This will be a fantastic treat for the kids! A Night To Remember, A Year to Forget – Tin Roof Raleigh Starts at 6pm (304 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27603) Come join the crew as they toast 2020 goodbye and say “hello” to the new year!
