Hilltop Farms of Willow Springs
“A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a farm membership program that relies on its members to join prior to the start of the harvest season to provide the farm with “seed money” to purchase actual seed, fertilizer and so on for planting the new crop. In return for their support, members receive a weekly or bi-weekly delivery/pick-up of fresh, chemical-free vegetables grown on our farm! Please, check out our Harvest Schedule on the Join page that shows you what we intend to grow this year and what month to expect it’s harvest and find it in your weekly box!”Want to join the team and learn more on how to sign up? “I went to my first Spice and Tea shop out in Wilmington, NC. As soon as I entered, I immediately fell in love with the smells and the general atmosphere of the establishment. It was at that point I knew one day I would own my own spice and tea shop.”-Rachel Sauls

Lovely ranch end unit. 2BR and 2 full baths. Fireplace in living room. In town amenities. K’nB’s Marketplace
Opened for about 11 years, Kim and her daddy Bobby have turned a small town building into a thrifting paradise! When they first bought the building it took over 9 months of renovations to finally open their first consignment store “K’nBs Brew and Browse”. Four years later we now have “K’nBs Marketplace” which then turned into housing vendors of all types.
Be sure to stop into K’nB’s Marketplace and shop around for a while and enjoy coffee from their coffee bar. They are open Tuesday – Friday 10am – 5pm and Saturday 10am – 4pm. Check out their upcoming events here! Want to become a vendor at K’nBs Marketplace? Follow this link to sign up! Fuquay Mineral Spring Park
It is a peaceful place to find yourself strolling through the park, enjoying nature, listening to the trickle of the spring fountain. We highly recommend making this a stop if you have not yet taken the time to visit.
Front Porch Give Back
I asked Laura Moody a few questions regarding Front Porch Give Back –
1. Where did the idea come from?
“I have always wanted to “give-back” to the youth of my community as I am an adoptee myself. My twin brother and I (as well as our older adopted brother) could have easily grown up in foster care if we had not been adopted into a loving home. When young adults age out of our Wake county foster care system they are set up in an apartment and given only a bed and an alarm clock. We wanted a way to be able to connect the unwanted household items of our sellers with the needs of our community’s young adults and families. Our recipients are by referral only from our local schools, churches and anyone else wanting to help.”
“My long term goal is to keep a fully stocked office basement full of furniture and household goods so that anyone that needs help can receive it. I would also love to have it stocked with basic cleaning supplies and other household needs a lot of us take for granted; new sheet sets/towels, batteries, lightbulbs, flashlights, etc.”
“We are getting the word out with social media but would also love to be able to put our brochure out at other local Fuquay-Varina businesses. We do want donors to realize we are not a “thrift shop”, we are only asking for what is listed in our post. Recipients “shop” our household goods free of charge.”
“Drop off at our office Monday through Friday from 9am – 5pm!”
