Congratulations to Dave Matthews for selling more real estate in the month of August than any other Front Porch Realty agent!

Dave’s got all the bases covered. He was born and raised in Angier, so he knows Harnett and Wake counties well. He’s spent most of his life helping others, first as a nurse for 20 years, he learned to be a strong advocate for his clients. Then, as a father of 3 pre-teen and teen girls, he learned to be a strong negotiator. He would love to help you through the home buying process and finding your perfect home in this community.

Give him a call today!

What is Labor Day and why do we celebrate? There have been several official start dates for Labor Day. It seems it actually started in Toronto, Canada in 1872 before being celebrated for the first time in New York City in 1882. Oregon was the first state to make it an official holiday in 1887. Labor Day began as a demonstration for workers rights but has evolved into a celebration and recognition of the last unofficial day of summer and officially the last appropriate time to wear white. Although, Emily Post says that’s not true anymore, especially in warmer climates like ours here in North Carolina. So go ahead and wear your white shoes, pants, anything you want and celebrate!

Here are a few activities we found happening in the Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs area for the holiday.

Rock Solid Warrior Labor Day Grand Opening Celebration is happening Monday, September 2nd from 7am – 1130pm. Check here for more details! Something for all ages and fitness levels!

5-Year Anniversary Walk Around Bass Lake! Monday, September 2nd at 630pm. Come on out for a 1.75 mile walk and celebrate the 5-year anniversary of this meet-up group! This is a great event for first-timers to come out and meet some fellow members. As always, dogs and kids are more than welcome to come along as well. We will go counter-clockwise around the lake, so if you arrive late, just head clockwise and eventually we will run into each other.

Once again Front Porch Realty has taken an in depth look at our local housing market. See our snapshot HERE. According to our Triangle MLS data, housing inventory is up 5-10% from Q1 which is great to see, however most pricing markets in our corner of the Triangle are still showing a very low supply of housing inventory especially in the under $400,000 sales price market.

FRONT PORCH REALTY continues to grow and provide the residents of Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs a LOCAL professional real estate firm to handle their real estate transactions. We love moving our residents into, and across town, and showing off all we have to offer. If you haven’t had a chance to glance at our website, please take a moment, we love showing off how special our towns are!
We are here to help you, your relatives, co-workers, employees, and neighbors.

Stop by one of our offices, send us a message, or give us a call and let us help you get moving too!
