From delicious drinks that are almost too beautiful to indulge in to some of the best FRESH bar food in town, The Brickhouse Bar & Grill is a Fuquay local’s favorite.
There are so many changes that have happened within the brick walls over the past year. We got the inside scoop from management and we are ecstatic to share their vision with you!
“Since Eddie and I(Chelsea) have started managing the bar together we really have wanted to change the whole vibe of The Brick. We are trying to gear it towards the younger crowd (22-35), we feel like there really aren’t any cool hangout spots tending to young-adults.”
“We have seasonal cocktail menus that rotate about every 4 months. Customers can also enjoy daily drink specials which we include our staff in to not only help create the cocktail menu, but add their swag to the daily menu as well. Our draft beer taps have definitely seen improvement since Eddie has taken over ordering. “Local beer is the BOMB” he says. We typically have 3-4 local taps, some rotating & some staples. The Topo Chico with the Chamoy and Tajin rim is winner in our book…and if you haven’t tried it, it’s a must. We just released the slushie machine this past weekend which we hope will take off. We are calling them Bricees (Pronounced Brick- seas). Our staff plays a big part in all of these changes for the cocktail side of things, they’re opinion matters. We take pride in that we care about our employees and they’re creativeness, knowledge, and ideas.”
We got to try a Bricee ourselves Saturday (went back this past HOT Tuesday for another one) and it did NOT disappoint. The absolute perfect drink to cool-off on these hot days! They will be coming out with different flavors throughout the season!
“Our food has really had a major turn around in the last year as well. No more frozen food. Our menu is prepped fresh every week. We were once known as the place to get wings, but that’s all changed now. Now it’s a place where whatever you order, you’re sure it’s going to be a delightful meal. Everything on our menu is essentially done in house by Eddie. The food menu is also seasonal and changes every few months to keep it new and fun.”
Recently installing a neon burger sign, “Look for the burger in the sky, that means it’s that time!”
“The brick wouldn’t be what it is without our amazing staff, from owners, managers, bartenders, bar backs, and bouncers we all have each other’s back and look at each other as family. That is something we are very proud of, we take pride in ensuring we keep a family-like staff that our regulars know and love.”
